An Introduction to New
Creation Teaching Ministry
Since we began in 1974, New Creation Teaching Ministry has had a wide ministry, throughout Australia and overseas.
- We conduct Teaching Missions, Summer Schools, Winter Schools and Ministry Schools in South Australia each year as well as interstate and overseas Schools and missions.
- We conduct Teaching Classes in partnership with local churches in various venues around Adelaide, and these are led by well–qualified pastors and laypeople.
- We’ve published over 400 book titles and distributed hundreds of thousands of books, hundreds of videos and thousands of audio cassettes and mp3 CDs and DVDs.
- Many of our teaching resources are also available through our website and Sermonaudio.com/newcreation
- We offer a certificate-level Christian Workers' Correspondence School, used by pastors and others in a number of countries.
What is distinctive about New Creation Teaching Ministry?
We have a simple confidence that as the Word of God is taught under the power of the Holy Spirit, people will awaken livingly and lovingly to the truth of God, His creation and humanity.
What do we see as the distinctive marks of our teaching?
- The grace and the holiness of God
- The centrality of the Cross of Christ in all God’s actions
- Knowing God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit
- The whole counsel of God revealed progressively in all the Scriptures
- Speaking prophetically rather than academically
- Seeking God’s reviving work in the church and the world
We are not a sectarian group. We do not seek to stand separate from the churches; rather, we exist to serve churches and to work in partnership with them. All members of the Team fellowship in their own churches, and people from a wide variety of churches and denominations take part in our ministry, both as recipients and leaders.
We do not have direct contact with any ‘creationist’ group, and we don’t take a particular stand on the relationship between the accounts of creation in Scripture and the discoveries of modern science.
For further discussion of our theological position, please see our Doctrinal basis.
From our beginnings we have worked on a faith basis, never soliciting financial support, but rather praying to our Father for our needs. No one on the Team is paid a wage. No charges are made for any Courses or Schools, other than to cover catering and administrative costs. Correspondence Courses charge only for mp3 CDs and mailing. What income there is from sales of books and other materials is ploughed back into the ministry to produce more of the same.
Feel free to enquire further. We are glad of the very many biblical-theological resources we have built up through the years and we want to share these, as freely as possible, to whoever would be glad to have them.
