ABOUT THIS BOOK Man may not always realize it, but inwardly he craves for purity. The Loss of it makes more impact than he cares to discover. A sudden and total cleansing of his conscience would be breathtaking and mind-boggling. Man-in -impurity fears holiness, and does not see it as a rich liberating power- which indeed it is. God's holiness sets out to destroy impurity and evil. In the process it must both judge and execute judgement, but the goal is the liberation of the universe from evil and man from his un-holiness. The way of holiness is the way of the Cross and the Resurrection. It is the way of the conquering Christ, and the purifying Spirit. The outcome is that man may worship God in the splendour of holiness. This is the height of true human experience. The author of this book has hammered out his theme on the anvil of truth and experience. This kind of writing is timely for its own decade. We need a sure and steady light to guide us to God's holiness- His intrinsic glory and splendour. |
