The title The Law of Eternal Delight should indicate the thrust of this book. God's law is not simply some legislation He has given us by which to live as moral beings. It is first of all the law which is the very way He lives. It is not a law under which He lives, but His very manner of operating both in Himself as Triune Being, and in the creation He has originated and wonderfully sustains and energises.

For God to reveal to us His personal way of being is an incredible matter. How wonderful to live as He lives, even though we are human to His Divine.

Most of us have a dread of law and see nothing beautiful in it. Yet it is all beauty, moral beauty, and never moralistic as such. Some readers might shy away from such a book, and this is understandable-at first sight. Dig into this volume and come to truth which is breathtaking. That is not just a blurb of an enthusiast who is a faddist. It is a book which is seminal.

It could open beauties beyond all known beauties. It could dispel the uneasiness of those who suffer from conscience, who are starved for serenity and substantial living.

Geoffrey Bingham is an untiring octogenarian. He has had a full life as a writer, farmer, soldier, pastor, missionary and more. His realm is the matter of humanity, and of course, God. He has a large output of poetry, novels, short stories and theological and devotional writings. He has always been close to the humanity he loves, and which never ceases to intrigue him.
